Get the price you deserve for your carpet cleaning service

Disney World took my money and I was glad to give it to them. How would you like your customers to pay you the highest price for carpet cleaning and feel good about doing it? And even better… keep them coming back for more?
I paid $60 for my four-year old daughter to go to the new Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at the Magic Kingdom. My wife made reservations and paid for this service several weeks in advance. Plus, when we arrived, we had to wait 20 minutes to get in. If we didn’t have reservations, we wouldn’t have gotten in at all.
They put a bunch of gel in her hair, sprinkled her head with glitter, and told us she was a pretty princess. Oh, and last they placed a tiara on her head and a “princess” sash around her neck. Being a male, I obviously had absolutely NO APPRECIATION for this.
But what I did appreciate was the look her face. She grinned from ear to ear and enjoyed her new “princess” look for the rest of our trip.
All the employees were super friendly. They did exactly what they said they would. They made my daughter feel like a princess and they made me feel like the best Dad in the world. All of this was for the low, low price of 60 bucks.
Like Mastercard says: Trip to Disney $1,000. Hotel $800. Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique $60. The smile on your daughter’s face……..PRICELESS.
All we really got in return was a plastic tiara, rayon sash, and cheap hair gel. But we paid for an experience.
The marketing lesson is to make sure your clients are thrilled to pay you top dollar. Find out their pains. Find out what they REALLY want from a cleaning service. More so, find out how they want to FEEL after the service is performed.
Here’s some of what I know about my clients: They want to feel good about their home. They want to feel comfortable in their home. They want the peace of mind knowing their home is healthy.
Our job is to sell them on how we will help them get these benefits. They could care less about carpet cleaning. They want what carpet cleaning can give them.
Simple marketing formula: Find out what they want. Sell them on the benefits of what they want. Give them what they want.
Do this and you’ll have no problem getting the highest prices in town.
