But it’s our job to educate clients about the dangers.  It’s our job to tell them there is something better out there for them.

Its obvious people need our service.  But did you know some of them are frightened to call a cleaning company because they’ve experienced something like this.

Talk about unprofessional.  This guy looks like he received zero training on client courtesy.  And the homeowner who calls them out to their home talks about how this company called 15-20 times.

Each time the homeowner asked to be taken off their calling list.   Nope.  They kept called.  So finally the homeowner decided to go ahead and let them come out.   Why not?  They’d just keep calling anyway.

And then wouldn’t you know…an irate and abusive employee shows up.

This video reminds me of the 20/20 and NBC Dateline exposes that were on a few years ago about bait and switch carpet cleaning.  It’s still prevalent.  They may not always offer cleaning for $5.99 a room, but they’ve got their ways to try to pull one over on homeowners.

Geez…don’t these guys realize you can make lots of money in this business if you treat your customers right?  These guys need to get a clue.

Educate your clients about companies like this.  It helps set your company apart.  Tell your clients what you do to avoid causing a situation similar to this.  Tell them how much you care and how your systems are set up to avoid catastrophes.

Oh, and this may be just one more reason to NOT do telemarketing to your prospects and clients.  Just a thought…But it’s your choice.

Youtube.com This should come as no surprise. It’s owned by Google. And this should be one of the first places you submit a video. YouTube allow videos up to 10 minutes long.

Metacafe.com A community based video sharing website. One of the reasons they are highly ranked is because they have duplicate video filter so two videos can’t be the same. This is another great place to post cleaning videos.

Viddler.com Another one of my favs. The great thing about Viddler is they don’t limit the length of the video. As long as your video is under 500MB, you’re set.

Break.com Humor website that features comedy videos, games, and pictures. If you’ve got a cleaning video with a small amount of humor, post it here.

Dailymotion.com Allows users to search videos by tags, channels, and user created groups. In April 2009, Dailymotion was getting 55 million unique visitors per month.

Revver.com The site attaches advertising to submitted videos and shares revenue with the creators. This is part of what makes it a great video site.

Vimeo.com Budding videographers showcase their videos. Allows embedding, sharing, and user comments.

Stickam.com Free live video broadcasting/streaming and social networking site. They claim to be the Pioneers in live video streaming.

Vidilife.com Social networking and media sharing site. Users post videos and interact with other users. They also offer features like video mail where you send can send a video email.

Blip.tv Video share site that sharing ad venues with producers. They have a free and paid version. Submit videos that are “How to” only and not a blatant pitch for your company.
