I have noticed that a lot of the carpet cleaning keywords are very expensive. This goes for the location specific carpet cleaning keywords.

I wanted to see what you recommend for cleaners in higher-end markets like the NY tri-state area. I have spoken with people at google adwords and they want a astronomimical sum of money to get ranked.Even to get a third tier was still expensive.
What would a company in our area do in this situation?

Never said I was an advocate. I was just reporting my findings.

Jose, I’d be interested in knowing what kind of numbers you did. For us, the Groupon surely had price shoppers. But there were also many good clients. You’re one of only three people I’ve heard from that have ran a Groupon and said they lost money. And I’ve been asking about this for about a year now.

Of course, lately, Groupon has changed the way they do business and made it more difficult for cleaning companies to make any money. So I’m not even sure if I’d do it again.
