Say goodbye to Google Places

By Hitman | June 6, 2012

Last week, Google announced that Google Places has now been migrated to Google+ Local.

Just like that…Google Places is gone.

What is going on?  Why did they make these changes?

And more importantly, what are you doing to prepare your cleaning and restoration business for these massive changes (and YES they are massive).

I shot a video yesterday explaining a ton of what is going on and some things you can do right now to get better results from the changes.

Make sure you watch this video on Google changes asap

We will be doing a few more webinars over the next couple of weeks to cover more of the changes, and of course we will be discussing these IN MAJOR DEPTH during our live event is being held in 2 weeks.

    Hi, John

We were averaging about 5-6 calls a day from our google places, up until last week, when it dropped to about 2 calls a day.Could this have something to do with the drop in calls?

We now have a google+ account, as of two minutes ago.let’s see what happens.

Your Google Places can absolutely effect your number of calls. Google + is a great place to start.

John, I’ve been following you for a few years now. I was in your coaching club once before but didn’t do anything with it. This time it’s different. With Google constantly changing the way it behaves I’ve decided to move some of my eggs to Direct Mail. My first request is in to you guys today. It won’t be my last.

Great job keep up the great work in everything you do. Thank You

Thanks Doug. Yes, good words of advice. Never put all your marketing eggs in one basket. Google is GREAT when it works for you. But don’t depend on Google or any other single media to always bring you clients.
